Taylor Wessing Photo Portrait Prize 23

Grade was delighted to redesign the catalogue for the prestigious Taylor Wessing Photo Portrait Prize 2023, following a brief hiatus of the competition. The catalogue was published to accompany the exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, London, which ran from November 2023 to February 2024. Celebrating the very best in contemporary portraiture, and with over 5,000 entrants, the exhibition showcases talented professional and amateur photographers from around the world, and features new work from the 2023 ‘In Focus’ photographer Hassan Hajjaj. Fully illustrated in colour throughout, the catalogue includes interviews with all the prize-winning photographers, alongside extended captions for each exhibited work and insights from the judges.
