Battle of Trafalgar Stamps Presentation Pack

To mark the 200^th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar celebrations, Royal Mail launched a set of commemorative stamps and we were delighted to be asked to design their presentation pack, first-day cover and the official postmarks to accompany the stamps. The pack concentrates on what life was like aboard Admiral Nelson’s flagship, HMS Victory, seen through a day in the life of a serving midshipman. The battle is explained in a detailed infographic explaining the strategic positioning of the opposing fleets. The reverse presents the legacy of Nelson’s victory with key moments of Britain’s seafaring history illustrated. Our naval-themed design and infographics provide a wealth of information about what is regarded as one of history’s greatest sea battles.
