Bølger og Måner (Waves and Moons)

Grade were appointed to create the exhibition identity and supporting exhibition and marketing graphics for the Stavanger kunstmuseum in Norway for their art show 'Bølger og Måner' (Waves and Moons). The show focussed on the remarkable Norwegian mother and daughter artists, Siri Aurdal and Synnøve Anker Aurdal, featuring their signature tapestries and sculptures with the exhibition title ‘Waves and Moons’ pointing to central motifs in the two artists’ works. Our exhibition logotype drew inspiration from the signature translucent installation artworks on display, reflecting their colour palettes and overlaying effects of the coloured perspex materials. As well as posters and marketing materials we created the exhibition graphics and captions.
