Ruth Asawa: Citizen of the Universe Show

Grade were was delighted to be reappointed again by the Stavanger Art Museum in Norway to create the branding, marketing materials and exhibition graphics for the show ‘Ruth Asawa – Citizen of the Universe’. Co-curated in collaboration with Modern Art Oxford, the show transferring travelled to Stavanger, where meant European audiences were not only introduced to American artist Ruth Asawa and her art – including her incredible signature hanging sculptures in looped and tied wire – but and also to her educational beliefs and activism. As well as creating all the graphics for the gallery and creating designing the exhibition catalogue for this prestigious and groundbreaking show, graphics were also created also for the education centre within ’studio ‘studio nona’ for their creative workshop activities.
