The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier

For the first major exhibition devoted to the celebrated French fashion designer and ‘enfant terrible’ of couture, Grade created the typographic design for ‘The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier’ at the Barbican in London. On show were his avant-garde fashion creations and cutting-edge designs from the last 40 years. We produced over 400 separate elements to describe the exhibits, employing a classical styling and authoritative presentation for the exhibition graphics.
