Although we have designed many architectural titles over the years, The Work of MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects: Economy as Ethic is still a firm and very fond favourite of ours. Soon to be reprinted and available again, the first comprehensive monograph about the multi-award-winning Canadian practice’s incredible work is a rich source and celebration of sophisticated modern vernacular creations in often wild and inhospitable environments. The book has a transparent acetate jacket over a full wraparound image on the PLC cover of ‘Enough House’, which is sited on their Shobac Campus estate in Novia Scotia.
