A Portrait of Britain
Commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery in London, A Portrait of Britain features a broad selection of portraits of the personalities that have shaped the last four centuries of British life. From Elizabeth I to Blur and nearly everyone in between, this book provides a richly illustrated guide to British society and history. The wide variety of image formats on display placed particular challenges on the grid design and structure of the book, and flexibility was key in ensuring variety and pace across the 200 portraits. Our fold-out cover allowed us to create a dynamic mosaic presenting the diversity of subjects and styles on offer in the book.
