A book about graphic designers and their work aimed at graphic designers: a perfect subject matter and project for Grade.
For the Carlton Group imprint Goodman Fiell, we created this compendium showcasing 100 graphic designers and design studios from around the world. Rules stated that we couldn’t have an official entry but we were delighted to be invited to have a feature spread on Grade to showcase our work.
One of the first titles from the newly created Goodman Fiell imprint, Ugly: The Aesthetics
of Everything by visual arts specialist Stephen Bayley,
once described as the “the second most intelligent man in Britain” takes readers through
art, design and natural history
by exploring the concepts of beauty and ugliness. Topics covered include the B-52 bomber, mountains and the great British bulldog.
